At Waynova, we’re transforming the sales process for vendors selling to public agencies like fire departments, EMS, schools, and police.

Many of these agencies rely on grants to purchase critical equipment—but sales teams often have no way of knowing which buyers are eligible or which grants apply. That’s where Waynova comes in.

Our platform acts as a grant intelligence engine that helps sales reps identify, prioritize, and close deals with fundable prospects. Using public data, AI parsing, and rule-based matching, we surface the right grants for the right buyers—based on geography, department type, product category, and eligibility criteria.

Instead of chasing dead-end leads, sellers can now focus on buyers with real purchasing potential. And as deals progress, reps can share grant guidance and auto-generated resources to help buyers apply—without crossing legal lines around grant writing.

We’re not just another grant platform. We’re a sales enablement tool powered by grants—designed to accelerate deal velocity in the public sector and unlock revenue otherwise left on the table.

Bio:

John McFillin separated from the Navy in April 2023 after 11 years of service. Prior to enlisting, he earned an accounting degree from Temple University and worked as an accountant in Philadelphia but left the profession in search of greater purpose. The Navy provided that sense of meaning, but over time, his growing family—his wife and four children—became his top priority, prompting his transition out of the military. After leaving, John began searching for a new mission and found it through a personal connection: his younger brother, who is autistic and now facing health issues due to limited access to resources. While supporting his parents in navigating available services, John realized that although support exists, it is often disorganized and hard to locate. This insight inspired him to create an app that streamlines access to essential resources for individuals with special needs. His goal is to reduce the burden on caregivers and encourage healthier, more active lifestyles within the special needs community. John is passionate about the app’s potential to make a meaningful and lasting difference.
